Purpose

Screenixx is committed to respecting your privacy rights and ensuring transparency about how we collect, use, and disclose personal information. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), you have the right to direct us to not sell or share your personal information. This page explains how we define a “sale” or “sharing,” the categories of personal information involved, and the process to opt out or limit our use of sensitive personal data.

Definition of Selling and Sharing

A sale occurs when we disclose personal information to a third party for monetary or valuable consideration. A share occurs when we disclose personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising, even if no money changes hands. Data transfers to service providers, such as payment processors or cloud hosting providers, do not constitute a sale if they are bound by contracts limiting how they may use the data.

We may sell or share the following categories of information:

• Identifiers: Name, email address, IP address, account ID, device identifiers, and online identifiers.
• Commercial information: Subscription purchase history, transaction records, and paymentmethod information (excluding full credit‑card numbers).

• Geolocation data: Approximate location based on IP address and, if you enable locationservices, precise geolocation data.
• Professional or employment information: If you choose to provide it (e.g., for job applicationsor business partnerships).

We do not sell or share highly sensitive categories of personal information—such as Social Security numbers, precise health or medical data, government‑issued identifiers, or financial account numbers— unless required for legitimate business purposes or legal compliance. If we collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health conditions, precise geolocation, or biometric identifiers), we will use it only for the specific purpose disclosed at the time of collection and will honor your right to limit further use.

How to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

1. Use our “Do Not Sell or Share My Information” link: At the bottom of every page and within your account settings, you can access the preference center. Toggle the option to opt out of data sale or sharing. Once you save your preferences, we will stop selling or sharing your personal information for cross-context marketing or analytics.
2. Submit a request: You may email our Privacy Team at privacy@screenixx.com. Please include your full name, email address associated with your account, and a statement requesting to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
3. Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: We recognize and honor GPC signals in supportedbrowsers. If your browser is configured to send a GPC signal, we will automatically treat it as an opt‑out request, without needing further action from you.

You will not be required to create an account to exercise your rights. We will process your opt-out within 15 business days and confirm via email. You may review or change your preferences at any time.

Minors’ Privacy

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. For users between 13 and 16, we require opt‑in consent before any sale or sharing. For children under 13, we require verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a minor’s personal information has been collected or shared without proper authorization, we will delete the data and disable the account.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

If we collect sensitive personal information—such as race or ethnicity, health data, precise geolocation, or biometric identifiers—you have the right to direct us to limit our use of that information to what is necessary for delivering the services or products you requested. You can submit such a request via the preference center or by contacting us at privacy@screenixx.com.

No Dark Patterns

Our opt-out process is designed to be straightforward and free of dark patterns. We will not use confusing language, hidden toggles, pre-selected options, cookie walls, or unnecessary obstacles when you exercise your privacy rights. The opt-out link is prominently displayed on every page, and selecting it will immediately take you to your preference settings.

Consequences of Opting Out

When you opt out of sale or sharing, we will continue to provide you with access to Screenixx; however, you may notice changes in the relevance of advertisements and a reduction in certain personalized features. Your account benefits and pricing will remain unaffected, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
